Labels are a way of grouping devices and network tests for easier management by controlling which tests will run on which devices.
These labels can also be used to organize devices into geographical locations or departments. For example, all employees in the “San Francisco” location, or “Paris” location, etc.
Labels are created and edited under the Management section and can be applied to both Devices and Network Tests.
A network test with no labels will run on all devices.
Once a labels are created, they can be assigned to your devices.
Labels can be removed through this menu as well.
Utilizing labels, you can designate which tests are to run on which particular devices. As Network Test Profiles are created, you have the ability to apply a label to the test during the creation process.
In the Test Profile Settings, there is a Label(s) dropdown available for label selection. Select the drop down to reveal the labels that have been created previously and select the label of your choosing as shown below.
Notice that the label can be seen at the top of this screen after the selection is made.
Similar to the Devices page, you can also assign labels to network tests directly from the Network Test page by using the Associate Label drop down.
