¶ Creating User Accounts
The DEX Dashboard allows you to create unlimited users to access the cloud based dashboard. These users will be able to see the telemetry data collected by the DEX Agent endpoints. You do not need to create a user account for every device that will be running the DEX Agent software. User accounts should only be created for team members that want to analyze the performance data visible on the DEX Dashboard.
¶ Adding a user
Users can be added from the DEX Dashboard.
- Navigate to the Management and click on the Users tab.
- Click the Add User button.
- Fill out the form with a valid email address and display name for the user. Click the Add User button when finished.
¶ Activating user account
Once a user has been added they will receive an automated email to active the account.
- When the Add User process is finished an email is automatically sent to the same email added for that user. It will contain instructions to activate the account.
The email will come from no-reply@verificationemail.com. Check spam filters and email quarantines if it is not seen.
- Go to the link in the activation email and log in using your email and the temporary password. Once logged in you will be prompted to create a new password.
Passwords must be at least 8 characters long, and contain at least one number, one uppercase letter, and one lowercase letter
