In this test, the sensor will ping up to 5 user-specified hosts or devices. These can be devices on an internal network (a file server or printer, for example) or websites on the internet. This verifies network connectivity between the sensor and the remote device.
Pings to separate addresses happen sequentially; if one fails, the others are still attempted.
